‘Endhiran’ goes to Oslo

Tamil cinema is going places. After making waves in many international film festivals, it is now time for Tamil movies to mark their presence in Norway. For, a set of films from Kollywood will be soon screened in the abroad country.

The Norway Tamil Film Festival, which is to be held from April 20 till April 25 in Oslo, will have 15 films, including Superstar Rajinikanth starrer ‘Endhiran’, directed by Shankar and produced by Sun Pictures.

Other movies in the list include ‘Angadi Theru, Kalavani, Madraspattinam, Aadukalam, Mynaa, Boss Engira Baskaran, Vinnaithandi Varuvaya, Yudham Sei, Tha’ and ‘Thenmerku Paruvakkaatru’.

One of the organising committee members of the festival said they are also looking for support from the Norwegian government for the event. “We wanted good movies to come to our country,” he added.
